International Women's Day
March 8th is International Women's Day, and we have once again curated an exciting and eclectic selection of books by and about women to inspire your reading choices ahead of the day. Featuring new and rediscovered classics, there is a diverse range of titles for any reader. We have non-fiction that challenges the expectations society places on women, like the Korean bestseller Two Women Living Together and journalist Begoña Gómez Urzaiz’s The Abandoners. We have novels like Jenni Fagan’s Hex and team favourite Fight Night by Miriam Toews. There’s also a rich offering of classics—including Dorothy Whipple’s subtle but devastating Someone At a Distance—graphic novels, and books for younger readers.
